march 18 right, back to the initial plan more rockwool !
in the coming days i will put one layer (5 cm) of rockwool between the (original) walls and the drywall i just need to unscrew the upper screws and lower the rockwool in like the game 4-in-a-row...

march 14 continued
today we roughly finished the walls. that means, drywall on all walls in rows of 260 x 60 cm the total length of the walls is approx. 270 cm so the top row will be put on later, after the ceiling is ready. this way the layers of the wall and ceiling cross each other, thus covering any unwanted openings between the boards. |

i decided to go for the rubber tiles so i cut them up in small squares - also had a meeting with Loek on the wednesday 7th we discussed the walls, the ceiling, ventilation, the floating chamber and all the materials. Loek is gonna help out with his skills so it's time to rock ! - not much work done otherwise had other stuff to do like preparing 2 new releases |

ok, i tried something else it was actually my first idea so i gave it a try again i cut up a large rubber tile and use this as isolation between the gipsum board and the walls (and also the ceiling, see pictures)
the wall - and the ceiling -
march 3 the next step. *experimenting with materials for the walls* a new wall / layer of greenboard (gipsum board) is planned. it will be attached to the walls on laths. now to prevent resonation, rubber material will be put inbetween the greenboard and the laths. the bottom of the greenboard, placed on the concrete floor, should be isolated with some kind of rubber material to prevent resonation. below an idea that i am working on
